Review Thursday: LA Colors Loose Shimmer Eyeshadow

Well, I live anything cheap and that works good! I would rather shop at the dollar store than go to the mall! I love finding cheap makeup that actually works especially, in eyeshadow! If you haven't noticed I have a lot of LA colors makeup! I don't have Mac or Bobbi Brown! Yes! I would love too but, it doesn't bother me not to have it! LA colors is $1 and these colors are super shimmery and I LOVE shimmery eyeshadow! They are loose powder and very pigmented! The only Robles is the brush that comes in them stink! All the bristles are out of wack and you can't use them! I made a mistake though by taking and throwing the brushes away! Now all the eyeshadow falls out when I open it! On the picture where I show snow white on my arm that color is not nude like that! That is the color of my eye primer! I love this color though because you can add it over any color and it will be shimmery! The pictures of my arm go color without primer then with primer!

Tippy Tuesday: Eyeliner

Eyeliner does not last all day for me! I use Avons Waterproof eyeliner and it does last longer but, still not all day. To make it last all day take an eyeliner brush and put it in the color eyeshadow closest to your eyeliner color. Then apply it directly over the eyeliner. Is using it on your water line be careful not to get in your eye!!

Manicure Monday: Zebra Nails

Hey girls, I am actually in Tennessee right now and scheduled for my post to publish. I am going to be showing you the Sally Hansen effects Real Nail polish Strips. I bought mine at Bealls Outlet for $2.99. If you buy them at Walmart they are $12. I was so excited when I found them for this cheap. Check out your Bealls!

Pros: You don't have to be an artist!
All different designs.
Don't have to wait for them to dry.
Last for up to 10 days.

Cons: EXPENSIVE!

Easy to apply- 7; they are kind of flimsy.
Nail sizes- 9 they do stretch
Price- 1 (if you can't find them on sale)

Periods 101: EPK

 Hello, I am still in Tennesee! I am doing my Periods 101 series and today I am showing you what I call an EPK. It stands for Emergency Period Kit! My cousin and I came up with the name when we both started our periods. I tried selling them once but, no one bought them. LOL. 

What goes inside:

• 2-3 Tampons if you use them.
• 3 pads. The absobiceny you use. I just showed all 3 absorbencies
• 2 Pantyliners for tampons or light days
• Wipes
• Germ-X wipes or just a small bottle incase there is no soap.
• Tissues Sounds funny right? Well, the tissues are for incase there's no toliet paper.
• Undies. I just didn't include that in the picture.

Put this all in a cute bag. Mine is from Walmart for $3.

 This is what I keep in my locker at school. I also, will put it in my purse or bag when traveling.

You do not have to put in all these things but, I do. If you don't use tampons; Why include them?

These do make great gifts for girls even if they do ot have their period yet. I gave one to my cousin who didn't have her period yet, but she kept it in her locker for school!!

Periods 101: My First Period Story

 Thank you Becca for telling me you could not see my new blog. I decided just to post my Period 101 on here. Here is my first period story:
I started my period way after all my friends. I was in the 7th grade and it was in November. I was at wrestling practice and I went to use the bathroom and seen that I started my period. I really wasn't sure what to do but, luckily that day I wore a panty liner. I went outside and called my mom and she was like "Do you want me to come get you?". I told her I was fine that I had a pad in my P.E. locker. We were required to keep atleast one in there. So I went to the gym and got it and went to put it on. My fist thought was I am actually putting something in this silver tin. LOL.
  When I got home later that night my mom told my brothers which was sort of embarrassing. Then that day was over. I was nervous about the next day at school because what if I leaked through my pants. I put 2 pads in my pencil pouch in this little black bag my iPod dock came in. Lol. Turns out the day went a lot smoother than I thought it would.
 Finally that night I went to spend the night at my cousins house and my oldest brother was taking me. I needed pads so my mom told him to take me to Walmart. He said he was coming in with me but, I made him stay in the car! It was really hard to chose what pads to get since, there is so many. I think I went with Always Infinity Regular and also the overnight ones. They're the best pads ever! If you have any questions please ask.

Natural Beauty Tips

Sleeping on your back will prevent many wrinkles and breakouts on your face, and even wrinkles in your cleavage area.

Wearing clothes that are tight make you look heavier. Even a slim girl can bulge over too-tight jeans.

Put on a coat of clear nail polish before a colored polish to keep your nails from discoloring.

Being angry really does take away from your beauty now and will result in more wrinkles later.

Wearing less make-up makes you look younger.

If you are unhappy with a hair conditioner, it will still make a great "shaving cream" for your legs in the shower.

When shaving, don't stretch the skin or you could cause ingrown hairs by shaving hair off slightly under the skin.

Drink plenty of water and get eight hours of sleep every day.

Tighten bra straps as they stretch out, or buy a new bra when they can't tighten any further, to keep the bosom looking young and perky.

Sleeping on two or three pillows at a time, or putting a wedge pillow under your regular pillow will help get rid of dark circles under your eyes.

Exercise while dieting is a must or your skin will be too large (and saggy) for your smaller body. It is much, much tougher to tighten skin after your body shrinks than as you go.

After washing your face, rinse in cold water (fair-skinned people should use cool instead of cold) to close the pores and tighten the facial muscles.

If you are out of quick-dry spray for nails, dip your fingers into a bowl of ice-cold water. (Don't to touch the sides of the bowl.) Your nails will dry very quickly.

Good posture can make you look much slimmer.

Wearing a low heel will give you better posture than wearing flat shoes.

Wearing very high heels too often will give you a masculine, muscular calf instead of a feminine, rounded calf.

Renew thick nail polish by adding a few drops of fingernail polish remover to the bottle.

Make a nail polish bottle not get stuck closed, put a thin coat of Vaseline inside the lid.

Clean hair brushes occasionally with dish soap and borax. In a dishpan of very warm water, add 1/2 cup of borax and a few drops of liquid dish soap. Swish the brushes to stir, rinse, and let air dry. Scrub any stubborn spots with a used toothbrush.

Manicure Monday

Happy Monday! It has not stopped raining at my house for over 24 hours. I hope all of you are safe! We are under tornado watch! :( One of our old bridges fell and hit the new one! They've closed down bridges and canceled all school things! It's worse than everyone thought! Things are flooded and I hope everyone is safe especially my dad who is a lineman and is out there working!
Now I didn't do my nails so I found a picture of where I had them painted to show you the color and do a mini review! It is wet-N-wilds Mauve Frost! This color is great and goes on so good! I only did one coat. Another great thing is they are 99 cents I believe at Walgreens. I got all mine on sale for 69 cents like a year ago! Guys I am so sorry I thought this post uploaded this morning and it didn't. :(
