Review Thursday: Foundation

Hey lovelys, Today I am doing a review on my favorite foundation. It is 15 dollars so I do only use it for special occasions. It is L'oreal Paris Magic Smooth Souffle. It goes on so smoothly and all you need is a tiny bit. My color is buff beige. I must say though it is not full coverage and the color will seem dark but it blends very good. Stick with your color.
Has anyone tried this foundation? What is your favorite one?
Revlon just came out with Colorstay Whipped foundation that I want to try it seems like it will be just like this plus, it is cheaper. If you try it let me know!

Tippy Tuesday: Bathing Suits

Hello beauties, Today is Tuesday therefore I will be giving you a tip or tips since it is Tippy Tuesday. Sorry about not posting in a couple days I have been busy!

Style Tips: Find the right Bathing Suit

One-Piece or Two-Piece Swimsuit?
Some of the most beautiful, sexiest women seen on the beach wear one-piece suits. They do not reveal it ALL, just enough to keep things interesting.
Many one-piece suits will show more back and less tummy, others show a bit more cleavage or thigh. Show off your best assets and conceal the others. Always remember that you are aiming for a balanced silhouette.
Swimsuit for Swimming
If you're into swimming, definitely get a one-piece. Find one that doesn't cut into the shoulders, has comfortable, stretchy fabric and doesn't creep up the backside. Forget bikini strings. You just don't want anything to come undone while you're doing laps or snorkeling off a crowded beach.
Small on Top
  • If you're small on top, you may want to try the newest, little swimsuits from Brazil. The Brazilian woman is generally smaller on top than the American girl, and their swimsuits are cut accordingly.
  • Look for tops with a touch of padding, or an under wire, demi-bra style that makes the most of a beautiful, dainty, bust line. Try to find a top with adjustable straps at shoulders and around back so that you can tighten and adjust things, to help fill out the top line.
  • You are very lucky that you have the body to wear those cute, ruffled tops that are so hot right now, so go for it. And as for bandeau tops, only you can wear those well. You can also show off in those tiny, tri-tops that the big busted girls only dream about.
  • Avoid tops with too much fabric or have a poor fit. Opt for separates, where you can choose your top and bottom separately.
Big on Top
You may need some extra support; underwire tops can work well and look great.
  • Halter-top bikinis can be a good choice by offering support, while providing some sexy cleavage too. Look for styles that are banded around the midriff and can be tied in back and around the neck. This style will give you some lift and will allow you to make adjustments for a personal fit.
  • Look for one-piece swimsuits with some structure in the bust, such as soft foam cups or at least, a shelf bra. Straight cut bust styles such as a classic tank can look clean and sporty. Wide shoulder straps will also be much more comfortable than thin, spaghetti straps.
  • Avoid strapless bandeau tops and those tiny, tri-tops that offer minimal coverage. Again, make sure to get a suit where you can order the top and bottom sizes separately.
Short Legs or Torso
  • Play up your figure by finding a suit that is cut high on the thigh. This will make your leg look much longer. If you have curvy hips, then all the better. This cut will accentuate your smaller waist and give you a flirty look.
  • You’ve probably already heard that vertical stripes can visually lengthen the body. Well, here’s another trick. Wear a solid bottom bikini with a printed top. This will draw the eye upward and give you a longer look.
  • A solid, one-piece suit with a plunging neckline creates a continual, long appearance and is absolutely, drop dead sexy to boot!
  • Avoid boy shorts and skirted bikinis as they draw the eye downward and can make you look shorter.
Long Body Shape
Clothes drape beautifully on you and your legs go on and on. But, you do need to make sure that you do not look like a bean pole at the beach in your swimsuit.
  • You can go wild with the embellishments at the hips and bust line. Rings, jewels, ties and bows are all good things for you.
  • Try horizontal stripes and nappy fabrics, such as stretch terry and velvet.
  • You’ll look smashing in those super bright colors that are so, “in,” right now.
  • If you want a one-piece swimsuit, try one of the latest, cut-out suits. It will break up your long torso, just like a bikini does.
  • Boy shorts are just the thing for your slim hips. Oh, and those cute, ruffled skirts and cover-ups? They’re made just for you!
  • Avoid up and down stripes, high necklines and dark, solid colors.

My favorite face mask

This is mainly directed towards oily skin. Lastnight when I was looking at face mask to post about I decided I wanted to do one. I kept looking and found one where you use milk of magnesia. I knew we had that so I decided to give it a try. It worked great. I am going to keep using it to see if it makes my face less oily. The one thing I like the most was that it didn't dry my face out. I think using it in the morning before putting on makeup would work wonders.
All you do is take a cotton ball full of milk of magnesia and apply it all over your face. let it sit for 10-15 minutes then wipe off with a wet wash cloth. Thats all you do it is cheap and last a while.

** UPDATE: I suggest only doing this once a week to every two weeks. It did make my face less oily but, it started drying my face out because I was using it everyday. Also, if you put a tiny bit on oily spots before your makeup it does help it stay but, make sure it does not go on white if it does you put to much on and need to buff it out. **

DIY: Face Masks

One ingredient
 1. Honey. Use a cloth damp with warm water and pat skin to open pores. Smear honey onto skin and leave on for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, and pat skin dry with cloth damp with cold water to close pores.
2. Raw egg yolk. Spread on face and neck and leave on skin for 30 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
3. Raw egg white. Beat egg white until frothy and spread on face. Wait until it dries and rinse off with warm water.
4. Grapes. Cut one grape in half and rub lightly all over face.
5. Banana. Mash one overripe banana and spread onto face. Rinse off after 15 to 30 minutes with warm water.
 6. Plain yogurt. Apply on face after cleansing and leave on for 15 – 20 minutes.
7. Apple cider vinegar. Dilute apple cider vinegar with two parts water and apply over face with a cotton ball as a toner after washing face every day and every night.
 8. Olive oil. Dab on lips at bedtime if chapped or leave on face overnight.
9. Avocado. Mash avocado, leave on skin for ten minutes.
10. Baking soda. Use as exfoliant for face by adding to your regular cleanser.
11. Milk. Seriously? Yes, seriously. Swab on face with cotton ball, leave on until your skin feels tight. Rinse off with warm water. Your skin will feel super-soft afterwards.
More than one ingredient
1. For Dry Skin You will need: 2 oz/60g ripe avocado flesh 1 oz/25g orange juice 1 tsp/5g pure acacia honey 1 tsp/5g molasses 5 drops chamomile essential oil Put all the ingredients in a blender, or mash by hand in a bowl. Add extra orange juice if the mixture is too thick. Use your fingers to spread the mask over your face and neck and leave it on for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer, before removing. Use a warm flannel to rinse off the mask - this will help gently exfoliate skin as well as clean your face. This mask will keep for a day or two in the fridge if you don't use it all.
2.For Sensitive Skin, Honey face mask. Warm a small pot of honey in a bowl over some hot water, then test a small amount on your hand to make sure it's not too hot. When warm, apply the honey generously over your entire face. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm, then cool water. For 3.Oily Skin, Egg White Mask You will need : 1 egg white 6 drops witch hazel 6 drops lemon juice Whisk the egg white until it's stiff, and then add the remaining ingredients. Gently apply the mixture to your face, avoiding your eyes. Leave to dry for 15 minutes or so. Rinse well with warm water.
4. For Tired Skin You will need : 6oz plain yoghurt ¼oz finely-crushed almonds 2tsp beeswax or honey 2tsp wheatgerm oil Mix all the ingredients into a smooth paste. Apply and massage into skin. Keep the mask on for 20 minutes.
5. Some More Suggestions For Blemishes : 1 Tomato, ripe, chopped 1 tsp Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon of instant style oatmeal or old-fashioned rolled oats Blend everything until just combined. Apply to skin, making sure the mixture is thick enough to stay on blemished areas: cheeks, forehead, or chin. If necessary, add a bit more oatmeal to thicken the mask. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then scrub it off with a clean washcloth dipped in warm water.
6.Skin Freshener 2 cups boiling water 1 tablet vitamin C Lemon peel (zest) from 2 lemons Dissolve the vitamin in water. In a glass bowl put the lemon zest and pour the water over them. Let it sit over night. Remove the zest and put in a spray bottle. You can use any type of citrus peel.
7.Skin Tightener 1 Peach, ripe, peeled, pitted 1 Egg white Whip the peach and egg white together in a blender until smooth. Gently pat the mixture all over your face. Relax for 30 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water.

Tips that will change your world

Hey dolls, these tips will change your life. If you would like to know what they are keep on reading!

Tip #1: Have cracked feet? Put Vicks Vapor rub on them before bed. Cover with socks
Tip #2: Tend to your cuticles. Use Vaseline or olive oil every few days to make sure they stay soft. Beauty Tip #3: Put your perfume on first and then your lotion. Your scent will last longer. Beauty
Tip #4: When applying facial moisturizer, be sure to circle pat upwards. Never pull down on your skin. Beauty Tip #5: Primer is important. It’s not just an add on. If you are in your 30s or older… be sure to apply prior to foundation.
Tip #6: Go to sleep with a clean face. Wash your face with soap, apply toner and then go to bed. Don’t add night cream unless you absolutely need it. Your skin needs to breathe.
Tip #7: When applying moisturizer, bring it down to your breasts. You have to cover your entire neck. To be safe, I always also cover the part of my breasts that are outside of my bra.
Tip #8:  It’s an oldie but a goodie – drink water. Lots of it.
Tip #9: When you blow dry your hair – do not flip all the way over to add volume. Push your hair forward from the back of the top of your head. That’s where you want the volume – not by the base of your neck. Tip #10: Masks are your friend. Do one at least once a week. If you have the time, aim for 2 or 3. Don’t have money to buy one? No problem! Make one at home using the food in your kitchen. There are plenty of recipes online to choose from.
Tip #11: You deserve to take care of yourself. Remember that.
Tip #12: Want to make your eyes pop? Line your bottom lids by your tear duct with nude eyeliner. It will push out your mascara and make your eyes pop.
Tip #13: Don’t be afraid to mix foundations. I use two different colors to come up with my color. Beauty Tip #14: I know those baby wipes are really easy to use, but don’t use them to take off makeup. They are bad for your skin.
Tip #15: Dry shampoo is your friend. If you haven’t started using it yet… you are missing out.
Tip #16: It’s not only about black or brown when it comes to eye makeup. Get purple, green or gold! It will make the world of a difference.
Tip #17: Laser hair removal works and it’s the best thing since sliced bread. It will change your life! Beauty Tip #18: Tinted moisturizer is a great product. I wear it 90% of the year. It’s a two-in-one for busy moms and gives just enough coverage to get through the day.
Tip #19: Don’t go to the bathroom without wearing mascara. It’s like clothing for the face. You can’t leave your house without it.
Tip #20: Want your manicure to last a little longer? Apply clear polish every few days.

How I Clean my Face

Hey lovelys, Today I am giving you a cheap way to clean your face. Here I go..
I have oily and dry skin and this has been the best thing I have ever used to clean my face. It is under 10 dollars and works fabulous. The first thing I take is makeup remover wipes from the dollar tree and remove all my makeup. These cost $1 and work great. Next i moisten a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and clean my entire face with it. It will sting but, it goes away quickly. Now I take Acne cream from the family dollar and put it on my pimples. I suggest only using this step every other day because it makes your skin flake. If you don't use it everyday it will be fine. Now the last thing I would do is take any night time face lotion and apply a small amount to your face! Hope this helps.

Products Mentioned:
Dollar tree makeup removal wipes $1
Rubbing Alcohol- Purchase at dollar stored, walmart, trgert, almost anywhere. $1
Zit zapper from Family Dollar- $1.50
Any lotion you chose.

Tell me how much this helped and please do the ask K?

Reveiw: Eye Primer

If you aren't using an eye primer I suggest to do so. Eye primer makes a huge difference, the color is more vivid and last longer. I bought an eye primer for 3 dollars however, I don't really like it. My all time favorite primer is Hard Candy's. The only problem is I have never found it sold by itself. You have to but a set of makeup. I will say it is worth it. it is about 8 dollars and last a whole for the little tube plus, you get eyeshadow with it.

In the comments below let me know your favorite eyeshadow primer or if you try this one.
